Who we are

Haptic ASMR and this website are provided by Neu Software LLC, a company registered in Delaware, United States. For privacy questions, email hapticasmr@neu.so.

What the app stores

The app saves your onboarding status, haptic intensity, sound and vibration choices, fade preference, and sleep timer locally on your device. These settings are used to remember how you like the app to feel. They are not sent to us. Sounds and visuals are generated on your device.

The app does not request your name, email, location, contacts, camera, or microphone. It does not record audio, create a user profile, or send your interactions to an analytics service. Device backups may include local settings, depending on your operating system and backup choices.

When you visit this website

This website does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or marketing cookies. Fonts and visual assets are served with the site. Our hosting and network providers process ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information, and request time, to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. Their service and security logs are governed by their retention practices.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use that information to answer your request and keep it only as needed to resolve the conversation, meet legal obligations, or handle a dispute. Our email and hosting providers may process it on our behalf. Please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.

How information is used

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, responding to support requests and keeping the website secure are our legitimate interests. We may also process information to meet a legal obligation. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or make automated decisions about you. Service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

Your choices

You can change your app preferences at any time. Removing the app and its local data clears its saved settings; backup copies are managed through your device or backup provider. We cannot access or delete settings stored only on your device.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal information, and to request a portable copy. Contact hapticasmr@neu.so to make a request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

App stores and children

Apple and Google may process download, purchase, device, or diagnostic information under their own privacy policies and your device settings. This is separate from the app’s local preferences. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. If a child has shared information with us by email, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its removal.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and the date above if our data practices change. Any new collection of data will be explained before it applies.
